Things people ask.

  • Yes. cubby is open source, self-hostable, and we don't sell anything. The three-tier layout is here because pricing pages are a habit and we couldn't help ourselves. There's no cloud product to charge for — yet.

  • You run Postgres. You hold the master key (and back it up — losing it means losing every secret). You're on the hook for upgrades and uptime. That's it. We don't sell support contracts, there's no enterprise tier hidden behind a sales call.

  • If we ever ship a hosted version, we'll charge for that. Today, no. The dashboard, CLI, ESO surface, share links, audit log — all OSS, all free, no feature gates.

  • Star the repo, file good bug reports, send PRs, tell a friend who's miserable inside Doppler. If you want to throw money at us specifically, GitHub Sponsors is the place — but please don't feel obligated.

  • Honestly? It's a fun page to build, and 'no pricing page' looks suspicious to people evaluating tools. This way we get to be transparent and slightly silly about it.
